The Community for Spiritual Living ("CSL")

The Community for Spiritual Living ("CSL") is a monthly community gathering that responds to our longing to better understand ourselves as spiritual beings and to connect with each other in a deeper way. During each gathering, scheduled regularly between 4:00-6:00 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month, a 2-hour session led by a CSL process leader offers an experience where people can learn something about themselves through an experiential process, a personal experience other than a lecture. The CSL process session is followed by a 6:00 p.m. potluck dinner and social celebration. We can guarantee that there will be fun, great conversation, ample hugs given and received if you want, and some cool folks to meet. Newcomers are always welcome.

Through the use of such methods as imagination, image, story, artistic expression, body movement, journaling, or meditation, each session offers an experiential approach to self awareness. The sessions are most often body-centered, engaging people at levels above and beyond cognitive thought. Session topics are informed by a spiritual perspective, giving the sense of a connection to the divine and inviting vulnerability, good will, and reflection. CSL often provides an introduction to a discipline or practice as a sample of a potentially transformative process.

Invite a friend if you like. Can't make it at 4:00 p.m.? Then just stop in at 6:00 p.m. for the potluck! No Need to RSVP. Consider inviting a friend to come.
